Have you tried to manually assigning the NICs? Use the names given for the NICs (i.e. lnc0 and lnc1) instead of auto-detection. Search the list archive for vmware. I remember reading about some one using it before. I have used Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 to simulate a m0n0wall. I would look at how the NICs are set up. I have not use vmWare for a while, so I cannot tell you where to look. Compare your other FreeBSD VMs with the m0n0wall one. _________________________________ James W.
