Yes there is a section under Dhcp called Deny unknown clients, when hat is checked you will have to add the rule to the section to the bottom of that page and add only the mac address you specify Hope this helped you out -----Original Message----- From: Ziekke [mailto:ziekke at ziekke dot net] Sent: Monday, October 04, 2004 9:52 AM To: m0n0wall at lists dot m0n0 dot ch Subject: [m0n0wall] Only allowing certain MAC to use IP? I want to set so that only a specific MAC ID is allowed to use an IP address (whether it is DHCP or Statically set). I have the IP set as a persistent DHCP IP address, but I dont think that will filter it if some random person sets that IP address as a static. Is there any way either through the GUI or exec.php that I can achieve this kind of a filter? -- // Ziekke --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: m0n0wall dash unsubscribe at lists dot m0n0 dot ch For additional commands, e-mail: m0n0wall dash help at lists dot m0n0 dot ch |
